AI Trading Agent FAQ

Last updated July 20, 2026

ZORO is an AI trading agent platform that runs automated stock trading strategies in your own brokerage account. Connect a brokerage you already use, pick a strategy from a trader or describe your own in plain English, and the agents execute it in your account.

What is ZORO?

ZORO (zoro.trade) is an AI trading agent platform. It runs automated stock trading strategies from named traders in your own brokerage account, around the clock. You connect a brokerage you already use, pick a strategy, and the agents execute it there. ZORO never holds your funds.

What is an AI trading agent?

An AI trading agent is software that executes a trading strategy on your behalf. The strategy is written in plain English, and the agent monitors the market, places the trades, and manages each position through to exit according to those rules. On ZORO, agents run strategies from named traders inside your own brokerage account.

How do AI trading agents work?

An AI trading agent starts from a strategy written in plain language. It watches the market for the conditions that strategy describes, enters when they appear, manages the position, and exits by the same rules. Because it is software, it applies the rules consistently and keeps working when the trader who wrote the strategy is away from the screen.

What is the difference between an AI trading bot and an AI trading agent?

A traditional trading bot follows a fixed script and needs every condition coded in advance. An AI trading agent works from a strategy described in plain language and can handle market conditions the way the strategy's author would, without a developer writing each rule as code. Most retail tools called trading bots today are fixed-script automations. Agents are the newer category.

What is agentic trading?

Agentic trading is the use of AI agents to execute trading strategies autonomously. A human defines the strategy, and agents carry it out continuously, adapting execution to live market conditions instead of following a rigid script. The term covers platforms where agents trade directly in a user's own brokerage account, which is how ZORO works.

Can an AI trading bot connect to my existing brokerage account?

Yes. ZORO connects to your existing brokerage account and every trade executes there. You do not open a new account or transfer money to ZORO. You can disconnect at any time and trading stops.

Does ZORO hold my money?

No. ZORO never holds your money. Your funds stay in your own brokerage account, trades execute there under that broker's protections, and you can pause an agent or disconnect ZORO whenever you want.

Do I need to know how to code to use ZORO?

No. Strategies on ZORO are written in plain English. You can run a strategy from a trader you follow, or describe your own in a prompt, and the agents handle the execution. There is no code involved.

How is ZORO different from copy trading?

Copy trading mirrors trades another person has already placed, so it is capped at what that one trader did while watching the screen. ZORO runs the trader's strategy independently in your own account, around the clock, and can take setups the trader was not there for. A copy cannot include a trade that was never made.

Is ZORO good for beginners?

ZORO is built so that running a strategy takes no coding and no chart-reading. Most beginners start by running a strategy from a trader they already follow rather than building their own. Automated trading still carries real risk, so start small and only trade money you can afford to lose.
